RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A woman with 25 years of higher education experience in Texas is the new president of Western Dakota Tech in South Dakota.
Ann Bolman succeeds Mark Wilson, who left the Rapid City school in June to become president of Mitchell Technical Institute in eastern South Dakota. She begins her duties July 24.
Bolman worked at Grayson College in Texas from 1990-2009, as a reading and writing instructor, director of developmental education, as an assistant dean and as a dean.
Bolman earned a doctoral degree in English from Texas A&M University-Commerce, a master's degree in English from Texas A&I University and a bachelor's degree in English from Texas A&I University.
Western Dakota Tech offers more than 20 programs in a variety of fields, from construction to health services.
