RENO, Nev. (AP) — The Secret Witness organization is offering a $2,500 reward for information about the fatal stabbing of a 48-year-old man on a Reno street.

Police say the incident happened a little before 8 p.m. Tuesday near Vassar Street and Kirman Avenue.

Investigators say four boys on foot came across the man and started yelling from across the street. Police say they crossed over toward him and began fighting with him before one of the suspects stabbed him.

Authorities say the suspects fled the scene.

The man was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center, where he died of his injury shortly after. His name has not yet been made public.
