THE GREAT OUTDOORS — Blending into your surroundings is an important aspect of bowhunting. But what happens when your hunting blind is a little too good?
Check out this peculiar video of a bowhunter in North Dakota:
According to the video's description, the encounter took place as a whitetail hunter was waiting in her blind. It's almost as though the moose realized that it was whitetail season opposed to moose season, and thus had no fear of being targeted as she poked her head into the blind and casually sniffed around.
Or maybe this moose was sent by its whitetail cousins to scout the area and find out if there were any hunters in the area. In this scenario, however, I'm not convinced that the moose was able to conclusively spot the hunter.
Regardless of the motive, it must've been crazy to be that hunter and have a massive (and nosy) moose only a couple of feet away.
