CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 4.50 cents lower at $4.7420 a bushel; May corn was .25 cent lower at $3.6840 bushel; May oats was 0.25 cent higher at $1.9620 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 2 cents at $8.9360 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .68 cent higher at $1.3998 a pound; March feeder cattle was 1.05 cents higher at $1.6310 a pound; April lean hogs gained .05 cent at $.7083 a pound.
