CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 9.25 cents higher at $4.8340 a bushel; May corn was 8.50 cents higher at $3.8940 bushel; May oats was unchanged at $1.96 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 11.50 cents to $10.3060 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .75 cent lower at $1.2525 a pound; April feeder cattle was .70 cent lower at $1.4560 a pound; May lean hogs gained 1.05 cents to $.7760 a pound.
