Extra Space Storage Concludes 2014 Annual Partner Conference

SALT LAKE CITY, March 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Extra Space Storage

Inc., the nation's largest third-party self storage management

company, recently hosted its annual Partner Conference in Park City,

UT. At the 2014 Partner Conference, more than 100 self storage owners

for whom Extra Space Storage manages, along with Company executives,

gathered to discuss 2014 strategies and goals, strengthen

relationships and take part in open and honest dialogue. The 2014

conference's "The Best at Getting Better" theme conveyed Extra Space

Storage's commitment to its partners and their growth as a core

element of the Company's long-term strategy.

Highlights of the 2014 conference included an opening keynote address

and welcome by Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert, recently recognized by

the Washington Post as the "Nation's Most Popular Governor." Rounding

out the list of presenters New York Times columnist, Carl Richards

provided an entertaining and educational keynote using his trademark

sketches to cut through the complexities of finance.

"Extra Space Storage was founded on the principle of building and

maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships. This

conference was one way that we show our partners that we value them

and their feedback. It also allows our partners to see that together

we have a very bright future," said Spencer Kirk, Chief Executive

Officer at Extra Space Storage. "With over 40 million square feet of

storage under management it is imperative for Extra Space to maintain

an open and healthy dialogue with its partners."

Extra Space Storage is committed to providing - together with its

partners - the most clean, secure and professionally managed storage

assets in North America. Leveraging the Company's unparalleled

operating platform enables partners to produce industry leading

results and maximize the productivity of their self storage asset.
