NEW YORK (AP) — The authors of the million-selling "Blue Ocean Strategy" are working on a new business book.
Hachette Books said Wednesday the 2017 release, currently untitled, will offer "practical ways" for businesses to move from competitive markets (red oceans) to more flexible markets (blue oceans). The new book will offer "on-the-ground, practical guidance for managers and employees of all levels."
"Blue Ocean Strategy," co-authored by W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne, came out in 2005 and has sold more than 3 million copies. The book advocates discovering new markets as opposed to taking on competitors in existing ones.
