FARMINGTON -- A North Salt Lake man admitted he set fire to a home because of a fight with the owner.

The Standard-Examiner reports that Humberto Vallejo, 39, pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of second-degree felony attempted aggravated arson in connection with the January blaze.

He was initially charged with first-degree felony aggravated arson, but prosecutors reduced it as part of a plea deal.

Vallejo could be sentenced to one to 15 years in prison when he appears in court next month.
