SALT LAKE CITY -- A new tool on an increasingly popular website is raising some concerns among state officials. They say the new feature actually makes the site more of a potential danger.

Now that Google Maps can provide the general location of people logged on to Chat Roulette, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force says it's another reason for parents not to let their kids use it.

"That's just too much information for a child to be giving out," says ICAC Intel Analyst Cindy Poulson.

She says if parents set limits with their kids about sites like MySpace, they should definitely do the same with Chatroulette. She adds that things like nudity are not just possible on the site, but likely.

"I can see fact scenarios coming up where people at this site are actually -- it's obscenity directed toward a minor," Poulson says.

She says any parent that allows their kids to chat while a webcam should be present when their kids do so.
