SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Highway Patrol celebrated 75 years of service Tuesday.
As part of the celebration, UHP troopers gathered on Capitol Hill as the state Legislature passed a House joint resolution in the agency's honor.
UHP also showed off old and new trooper vehicles -- the new Dodge Charger and a 1950s Ford Patrol car, and troopers around the state wore a new badge to commemorate the anniversary.
