OGDEN -- Ogden police are searching for a suspect in a robbery who has a very distinct look.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports Tony Alexander Pete, 43, is accused of breaking into a home around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, tossing a blanket over the homeowner and stealing a computer.

Pete has tattoos on his face that make him resemble a clown, with "clown eyes" and a "clown mouth" -- which made it easy for police to identify him after getting a description from the victim, who could still see underneath the blanket. The victim says he knew Pete because he had been staying with him recently.

Police say Pete is a career criminal with the street name of "Happy." They say he is also being sought in a break-in and burglary late Wednesday in the 400 block of 21st Street in Ogden.

Anyone with information on Pete's whereabouts should call the Ogden Police Department at 801-629-8221.
