CASTLE DALE -- A judge has determined a Castle Dale man is mentally incompetent to stand trial in the murders of his mother and father last October.

Court documents released Tuesday say Peter Simon Sharp suffers from a mental disorder that prevents him from understanding the charges against him.

The judge ordered Sharp be treated to see whether mental competency can be restored. He'll be back in court in June.
