SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Utah Department of Environmental Quality has called a yellow air quality day for several counties in northern Utah.
When the air quality is "yellow," people are asked to voluntarily refrain from wood burning and drive as little as possible. The department said conditions are yellow in Salt Lake, Davis, Utah and Weber counties on Monday.
In Cache County air quality conditions are "green," meaning wood burning is allowed.
On "red" days wood burning is prohibited.
