SPANISH FORK -- A collision between two trucks near the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon shut down a portion of US Highway 6 for a short time Wednesday afternoon.
Spanish Fork police say a box truck was going up the canyon too fast for the slick conditions. The driver lost control and hit an oncoming semi truck, then rolled.
Firefighters had to pull the driver of the box truck out, but both he and the other driver suffered only minor injuries.
US 6 was closed in both directions for about two hours. Traffic had to be diverted around the accident while crews cleaned up the mess.
