SALT LAKE CITY -- Ebay is starting a charity project where you can donate some of your favorite gifts of the year.
Anyone can bring an item that was meaningful to them this year to the eBay pavilion at the Gateway. Employees will attach descriptions to the items and they'll be put in a community art display.
On Jan. 4, the items will be auctioned off on eBay as part of the company's Giving Works program.
Ebay will accept the items until New Years Eve. All proceeds go to Family Promise of Salt Lake, which helps homeless families.
