OREM, Utah (AP) -- Corey Claitt scored 19 points and three other Utah Valley players scored in double figures as the Wolverines defeated Chadron State 83-57 Saturday.
Jordan Swarbrick, Jourdain Scoubes and Shawn Deadwiler each added 10 points for Utah Valley (5-5).
Moala Tautuaa led the Eagles(4-7) with a career-high 21 points.
The Wolverines held a 43-32 advantage at halftime and extended their lead to as many as 26. Utah Valley began the second half with a 6-0 run to go up 49-32, and Chadron State never got closer than 12 the rest of the way.
The Wolverines trailed 9-8 early before taking the lead for good with a 15-4 run.
Utah Valley shot 59.1 percent while Chadron State was held to 37.7 percent.
