WEST JORDAN -- West Jordan police say four people are dead following what looks like a murder-suicide. Their bodies were found during a welfare check Thursday night.
The incident happened at the Willow Cove apartments near 9300 South and Redwood Road.

West Jordan police Sgt. Drew Sanders said the bodies found were those of two adults and two children, but he could not confirm if all four victims lived in the apartment complex.
"I'm not sure what the relationship is. We're still trying to investigate even that," Sanders said.
Sanders said officers who initially responded to the apartment were able to determine the victims were deceased and then back out of the apartment. Now police are awaiting a search warrant to go inside and investigate.
"We need a warrant to get inside the home," Sanders said. "Just because there's dead bodies in there doesn't overcome the constitutional need to get a warrant."
Police planned to work through the night to obtain the warrant and then investigate the crime scene.
