Chief Justice to Speak at BYU

PROVO, Utah (AP) -- U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has agreed to speak at Brigham Young University this fall.

Roberts is scheduled to speak at a BYU forum Oct. 23. at the Marriott Center. The school schedules weekly events where speakers focus on academic subjects or a devotional on religious matters.

Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns is scheduled to speak March 27, six months before his series "The War" airs on Public Broadcasting Service. The 14-hour series focuses on World War II and Burns said he might preview scenes for the BYU audience.
