(KSL News) A bill that would have allowed police to pull over an adult for failure to wear a seat belt has died.
The bill was touted as a way to ensure more people were wearing their seat belts.
Currently, police have to pull adult drivers over for another offense first before they can issue a ticket.
Legislators say they believed the bill infringed upon the personal rights of drivers.
