SALT LAKE CITY -- Police have identified a skull found near Brighton Ski Resort as that of a Taylorsville man who disappeared three years ago.
The skull was discovered by a hiker in August.
Investigators said it belonged to Danny Moffitt, who was last seen on a camping trip with some friends and family. They claim he left after a fight broke out, and they never saw him again.
Though his skull showed evidence of head trauma, police said they still weren't sure how Moffitt died.
