POINT OF THE MOUNTAIN -- Bad behavior has landed a convicted murderer in the Utah State Prison.

Matthew Alex Kirkham was sentenced to probation so he could be treated at the Utah State Hospital after he was convicted of murdering his mother in 2005. However, since that time, Kirkham has assaulted two fellow patients, and one of those assaults ended in a conviction.

Monday a 3rd District judge ordered Kirkham be transferred to the prison. There he will serve out the rest of his one-to-15-year term.
