(KSL News) -- Students from Eagle Bay Elementary today unveiled Utah's newest license plate at Farmington Bay. It features the bald eagle and the logo "Ensuring Wildlife's Future."
Proceeds from the license plates will support species that do not receive alot of preservation funding.
Jim Karpowitz, Director, Wildlife Resources: "Black-footed ferrets, bald eagles, there's a bunch of non-game animals that will benefit from this."
A live bald eagle was on hand for the ceremony.
Farmington Bay is home to dozens of eagles during the winter. A Wildlife Resources employee came up with the design for the license plate.
