ROY -- A 17-year-old accused of shooting at a drug dealer over the weekend is facing charges as an adult.
According to the Deseret News, Derek Frank Navarro is charged with aggravated robbery and possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person.
Police say Navarro arranged to meet the man Saturday night to buy drugs, but then he pulled a gun on the man and demanded money. He also fired several rounds before fleeing the scene.
Officers say Navarro has a long criminal history.
