SALT LAKE COUNTY -- Two parole fugitives are back in custody after trying to run from police overnight.

The Salt Lake City Metro Gang Unit was tailing one of the suspects in the Millcreek area when he realized he was being followed.

Sgt. Duane Jensen said, "He apparently got hinkey, something spooked him, and he started trying to evade us."

Police said the suspect tried to ram officers' cars as they followed him through several cities and finally into an industrial area near 2700 South and 900 West.

The suspect's car got stuck in a field there. The man and a woman jumped out of the vehicle and ran.

Police caught up to Rebecca Fontanez, sent a dog to nab Anarfo Rivera, and arrested both on fugitive warrants.
