SEVIER COUNTY -- Fire destroyed a central Utah home early Sunday morning.
A Sevier County deputy noticed flames and smoke coming from an area between Interstate 70 and State Route 118 just after 2:30 a.m. and called the fire department.
Fire crews arrived at a home near 800 West and 100 North in Central Valley to find the structure fully engulfed in flames.
The homeowner was out of town with family members at the time of the fire. The home was a complete loss.
The Utah Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause.
