AMERICAN FORK -- Family, friends and former students of an American Fork band teacher paid their respects to her Friday night.
Hundreds attended Heather Christensen's viewing. She died last week when the band's bus crashed in Idaho when they were returning home from a competition.
Some band members say Christensen saved their lives when she grabbed the wheel of the bus after the driver blacked out. She tried to stop it from crashing.
Christensen's funeral is Saturday, and the band will perform.
