WOODSIDE -- A car accident Sunday morning killed a man and injured another. It happened on State Route 6 near Woodside.
Thirty-three-year-old Jared Midgely was traveling west when he crossed into oncoming traffic to pass another vehicle. That's when his Ford Bronco hit a semi truck.
The semi veered off the highway and rolled onto its side.
Midgely died at the scene. The driver of the semi truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
There were no obvious signs of alcohol or drugs.
