(KSL News) -- A judge this morning reviewed a motion to suppress evidence in the case of a Bountiful teen accused of killing his mother.

Jeremy Hauck's attorney says police entered the home without a search warrant. They want any evidence found in the home - including the body - thrown out.

Police say they entered the home at the request of family members.

Bill Mcguire, Prosecutor: "What do we believe that our police officers should be allowed to do? And certainly we believe in a case like this with the facts that were presented to them, they should have the right to go in and check things out."

The judge said he would take today's comments into consideration. Depending on his decision, one of the attorneys will likely appeal.
