TAYLORSVILLE -- A suspected DUI driver caused a multiple-car crash Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the person was driving eastbound on 6200 South at speeds upwards of 70 miles per hour. The driver's car slammed into the rear of a car stopped at a stoplight.

That crash sent the suspect vehicle into northbound traffic on 1800 West. It then T-boned another vehicle.
Two people in the second car hit were trapped and had to be extricated. They were transported to the hospital with what are described as relatively minor injuries.
Police believe the suspect was driving under the influence.
