(KSL News) A two-year old boy trying to cross the street by himself got hit by a car.
Police say the boy stepped in front of a Jeep coming down the road.
Officers say the car was only going about 15 miles an hour, but the roads were icy.

A helicopter transported the child to the hospital. He suffered head trauma and cuts on his face but is expected to recover.
The driver will likely not face any charges.
