This is Lane Beattie, president of the Salt Lake Chamber, with your Metro Business Report…
Tonight the Salt Lake Chamber Salt Shakers will host a ribbon cutting for the new facility of Waxie Sanitary Supply, the largest family-owned janitorial supply company in the United States. In fact, Waxie and its predecessor have served the Salt Lake market since 1914.
Salt Lake is the hub for their intermountain operations with offices in St. George, Boise and Idaho Falls.
Tonight, Waxie opens the new 88-thousand square foot state-of-the-art distribution center and office facility on 17th South—it's the only LEED certified sanitary supply building in the country. Waxie has 86 employees in their intermountain operations and provides resources to customers allowing them to create clean, healthy and environmentally friendly working environments.
