Sam Penrod Reporting The drama continues in Utah County, as the parents accused of kidnapping their daughter, went back to court.

The case is another step closer to going to trial, which was set today to begin in July. But today, the parents offered another public apology to their daughter, hoping the court case and all of the attention it is getting can end, even if it means a plea deal.

Rhome Zabriskie, Defense Attorney: "They want to do whatever it takes to preserve the family relationship or restore it, but again there's been nothing offered so there's no alternative but to ask for a trial date, that's what we want to do, get this case over."

Julianna Redd Myers was not in court today. She and her husband are said to be out of state, doing interviews with national media.

This all started in August, when her parents took her out of state the day before her wedding and she says her parents, Lem and Julia Redd physically forced her into their van. She missed her wedding, but still married Perry Myers three days later.

His family, who attended the court hearing, does not believe the parents are being honest about their apology.

Debbie Myers, Groom's Aunt: "She went and did the sob story and pounded her chest and said, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, right after she said Julianna had excluded her from the wedding, which was a big lie. Julianna had begged and begged for her to help her, but they wouldn't help her because they didn't get married where she wanted, that's how controlling these people are."

The judge set the case for a four day trial, beginning on July 9th.

And coming up tonight at Ten, you will hear from the bride's parents and what they have to say about this ongoing and very public, family feud.
