At 5:40 we talked with ABC reporter Aaron Katersky about talk back east about Joseph Kennedy, Ted Kennedy's nephew, running for the vacant Senate seat. There are others who will run but Aaron said the governor is not interested. The Mass. legislature will take up the debate over whether state law should be changed to allow for the governor to appoint a replacement. To hear more, click here.

At 6:20 we had our weekly chat with Sam Donaldson and talked about the controversy over CIA interrogation tactics and a possible investigation as well as the possibility of another Kennedy in the Senate from Mass. To hear more, click here.

At 6:40 we spoke to David Kerley who is reporting for ABC in Baja California. We asked him about preparations for hurricane Jimena which is expected to make landfall near Cabo San Lucas today. Residents have been asked to leave but many are staying and tourists are stranded there since most flights either have been or will be canceled. To hear more, click here.
