West Valley City -- The Utah Grizzlies will open their preseason schedule by hosting the Idaho Steelheads in Logan.
The game, on Friday, October 9, will be held at the Eccles Ice Center at 7 p.m.
"We are excited to be showcasing the Grizzlies in Logan," said Grizzlies Vice President Jared Youngman. "They have a loyal and strong hockey following up there and they were very anxious to land a Grizzlies preseason game."
Tickets for the game will be available for $6 and $8 online at www.utahgrizzlies.com after September 14 and at the Eccles Ice Center in Logan.
The following evening on Saturday, October 10, the Grizzlies will travel to McCall, Idaho for another round with Idaho at the Manchester Ice and Events Centre.
It will be Utah's second-ever trip to McCall. They first visited the Steelheads October 13, 2005 in a preseason bout in the city.
