KEARNS -- Fire caused the roof of a vacant home in Kearns to partially collapse.
A neighbor on the other side of the fence of the house near 5400 West and La Planada Way reported the fire just before 2 a.m. Monday.
Crews arrived to find the home's kitchen, back deck and roof engulfed in flames and smoke. They knocked down the fire in minutes, but damage is estimated at $150,000.
No one was inside when the fire started.
Investigators don't know yet what caused the fire.
