BOX ELDER COUNTY -- A 39-year-old man died Monday morning when his vehicle rolled several times on State Route 30 near Beaver Dam.

The Utah Department of Public Safety reports around 3:30 a.m. Boran Peang, from Oakley, Calif., was traveling eastbound on State Route 30 when his vehicle drifted across the westbound lanes.

He overcorrected, causing his pickup truck to slide sideways off the roadway on the north side of SR-30. The vehicle then vaulted off the edge of the hill and rolled three times.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Investigators say alcohol and speed caused to the crash.
