SALT LAKE CITY -- The Salt Lake Bees' infielder Sean Rodriguez was named the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week for the week of August 10-16.

In four games, Rodriguez went 8-for-11 with one double, one triple, three home runs and eight RBI. His best outing came on Wednesday, August 12 when he hit 4-for-4 with two home runs and a season-high seven RBI to lead the Bees to a 10-5 win over Nashville.

Rodriguez, 24, has appeared in 90 games for the Bees in 2009, hitting .295 with 15 doubles, five triples and eight stolen bases. He also has a team-high 26 home runs and 87 RBI.

In 12 games for the Angels this season, he owns a .200 average with two home runs and four RBI. The Miami, Fla. native was originally selected by the Angels in the third round of the 2003 draft.
