WEST VALLEY CITY -- There's more information about a fight that left a man in critical condition Friday. Now, West Valley police are looking for the man they say beat another man so severely he went unconscious.

A witness, Rocio Cendejes, said, "They beat him up like a freakin' rag doll."

Witnesses described a brutal scene near 4400 South and 4000 West. Several men surrounded another, then chased him down and attacked him with a bat.

"He was really beat up. They put him in a neck brace. The back of his head had a big old gash, and you could see, like, inside he was messed up," Cendejes said.

West Valley police say it appears the attack stemmed from another fight several days earlier in the same area. They've interviewed several people who may have been involved, but so far, no arrests have been made.
