SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A Salt Lake City teen accused in the abuse of his newborn daughter now faces charges.
Yesterday, 18-year-old Patrick Allen Swasey was charged with second-degree child abuse in the serious injury of his child.
Court documents say Swasey told police he became frustrated with his baby and that he might have picked her up too hard.
Doctors say the baby suffered 13 broken ribs and a broken leg. They also say the girl received the injuries in a non-accidental manner.
