(KSL News) -- Some students from Riverton High School are on the streets tonight. It's all a part of the school's annual Silver Rush Charity Drive.
Tonight students are camping out on their school grounds, collecting donations from passing drivers. Students say it's a great way to get into the holiday spirit.
Sheen Beard, Senior, Riverton High School: "I'm willing to do anything for this. I'm okay to freeze out here, I'm more than happy to."
This year all proceeds will go to Wasatch Youth Support Systems, a substance abuse prevention and treatment provider.
Last year the Silver Rush drive earned nearly 60-thousand dollars.
