SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Jazz have released its eight-game preseason schedule, featuring two games in Europe.
The Jazz will open the preseason at home, hosting Northwest Division rival Denver on Thursday, October 1 at 7 p.m.
Utah will then play two games in Europe as part of NBA Europe Live 2009 vs. the Chicago Bulls in London, England (10/6) and Real Madrid in Madrid, Spain (10/8).
Of the eight preseason Jazz games, two are at home, two are on the road against Western Conference opponents and the remaining games will be played at various neutral site locations.
After returning from Europe, the Jazz will not play again until October 15, when Utah hosts the Portland Trail Blazers at EnergySolutions Arena. Utah will then head to Los Angeles to compete in the four-team L.A. Shoot-Out at STAPLES Center where the Jazz will play the L.A. Clippers (10/17) and either the L.A. Lakers or Charlotte Bobcats (10/18).
