WEST VALLEY CITY -- Police are looking for the driver involved in an overnight chase in West Valley City.
Police say an officer spotted a stolen vehicle near 3500 South and Bangerter Highway around 2:30 a.m. Police dispatchers had alerted officers just moments before to be on the lookout for the stolen car.
The driver led the officer on a short chase that ended in a neighborhood. The driver stopped the car and fled.
Police dogs were called in but have so far not found the suspect.
