(KSL News) A car struck a cow in Cache Valley in the same area where a driver died in a similar crash two years ago.

The Utah Highway Patrol says both collisions involved a cow owned by a member of the Kunzler family.

On Sunday, state troopers say a car struck a cow owned by Jeff Kunzler. The driver was hurt.

Troopers say the cow wandered through a broken wood fence.

Prosecutors are reviewing the case to see if Jeff Kunzler will face charges.

In 2004, UHP reported a driver died when her car hit Darrell Kunzler's cow on State Road 30. He eventually pleaded no contest to reckless endangerment.
