(KSL News) The Davis County Board of Health is saying ‘no parent, no tanning salon' for minors.
The board refused to change regulation requiring all teenagers to have a parent with them to sign a consent form every time they visit a tanning salon.
Some tanning companies complained that business was down.
The director of the health department says that is, in part, because parents are better educated about the health risks of tanning beds.
