SOUTH OGDEN -- Two men shot up a South Ogden home Friday night and hit several family members inside.

Police say the men walked up to the home on the 36th block of Porter Avenue around 11 p.m. They fired three shotgun rounds through a window and hit the people in the front room.

Marci Edwards with the South Ogden Police Department said, "There were actually four together in that room. It was a mother, father and two small boys. All the males were hit. The mother was not."

The 29-year-old father was hit in the face, shoulder, back and eye. The 6-year-old son was struck in the back of the head, and the 5-year-old was hit in the foot and ankle.

All of the victims are recovering and expected to survive.

Police say the father is a well-known gang member and the shooting was likely gang related.
