WASATCH COUNTY -- A fatal motorcycle accident closed a stretch of U.S. Highway 40 Friday night. The Utah Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 8:00 about 15 miles east of Heber City.
Troopers say the man was riding westbound on the highway, lost control of the bike at a curve and fell down the hill. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 40 was closed in both directions for 30 minutes.
