(KSL News) -- A ballet classic filled some Utah kids with holiday cheer today in Salt Lake.

Ballet West held a performance of "The Nutcracker" this morning. The company performed exclusively for 18-hundred special needs students. Dancers say this performance is a favorite each year, because they love dancing for kids.

Jessica Dalton, Ballet West: "The mice act a little funnier, you know. The death is a little bit more dramatic so it's really a lot of fun."

Ballet West says the auditorium for today's performance was completely full.
