EMERY COUNTY -- A forest service employee helped rescue a man who crashed his ATV in a remote part of Emery County.
Park officials tell the Deseret News, the 26-year-old man was riding about 10 miles south of state Route 31 when he crashed around 7:20 p.m. Saturday.
The man couldn't get any cell service, but a forest service employee in the area had a radio and called for help.
A medical helicopter arrived a short time later and flew the man to the hospital. He was treated for injuries to his face, head, chest and leg.
