PANGUITCH, Utah (AP) -- A wildfire near Bryce Canyon in southern Utah has burned more than 200 acres.

The lightning-strike fire started June 14.

Specialists in Bryce Canyon National Park and on the Powell Ranger District of the Dixie National Forest are managing the blaze to try to protect wildlife habitat, improve forest health and reduce fire fuels.

The Bridge fire is burning about eight miles south-southwest of Bryce Canyon City.
