(Photo courtesy Utah Division of Wildlife Resources)OGDEN -- Police and wildlife officials attempted to corral a moose that ran through backyards in Ogden early Tuesday morning.
Ogden police said the moose ran along a trail adjacent to the Ogden River before winding up in some backyards along Washington Boulevard.
"It was in backyards, and we had people who were walking the trail who were being bothered by it," Ogden police Lt. Scott Sangberg said.
Wildlife officers managed to tranquilize the animal along Washington Boulevard about 8 a.m., police said. The moose was later released at the head of Beaver Creek in Rich County.
